Safe places for spotting and photography?
Over the last few years both rail and bus enthusiasts have come under fire from over zealous security bods at stations. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem at railway stations when they have been photographing trains? I must admit I've only experienced it when I've been out taking pics of buses in bus stations.
I find places like York and Doncaster you don't get bothered at all, and you can access the platforms without a ticket. Never tried it at Leeds, my nearest station. I know you need a platform ticket at Leeds. I was wondering if people have ever experienced any problems while persuing their hobby, or if there are any recomended no go areas for rail enthusiasts?
